"Fiumara La Grande"

Mural
realizado en Fiumara Grande, junto a la desembocadura del rio Tévere, como
parte de un proyecto de revitalizacion de espacios, enriquecimiento
cultural y visibilizacion de este barrio de Fiumicino promovido por
Edoardo Morello.
Tras la sugerencia de hacer una reinterpretacion del barrio desde mi imaginario personal, decidi establecer una metafora entre el rio y la via lactea, creando un paisaje cosmico donde coexisten los elementos mas representativos de la zona (bilancioni, el faro, las cañas....) y mi universo personal.
De esta forma se invita al espectador a recorrer un paisaje onirico, plagado de simbologias y metaforas, donde mi imaginario se entremezcla con el entorno, y la realidad da paso a un viaje interior a lo largo del curso de este rio y su desembocadura.

Mural painted in Fiumara Grande, next to the mouth of the River Tevere, as part of a project of revitalization of spaces, cultural enrichment and visibilizacion of this neighborhood of Fiumicino promoted by Edoardo Morello.
After the suggestion of a reinterpretation of the neighborhood from my imaginary staff, I decided to establish a metaphor between the river and the lactea, creating a cosmic landscape where the most representative elements of the area coexist (bilancioni, lighthouse, cane ... .) And my personal universe.
In this way the spectator is invited to explore an oniric landscape, plagued by symbologies and metaphors, where my imaginary is intermingled with the environment, and reality gives way to an inner journey along the course of this river and its mouth.
